As part of his official state visit to China, His Majesty Willem-Alexander took a trip to Hangzhou to meet Jack Ma at the Alibaba Headquarters. During this visit several agreements were signed, giving a tremendous boost to the e-commerce cooperation between China and Holland. One initiative is the opening of the “Holland Pavilion” on Alibaba’s Tmall Global platform. The pavilion will be a showcase of Dutch brands such as Nutrilon, Hero Baby and Philips. It is expected that many more Dutch brands will follow in the coming year.
